Drip Irrigation Systems in Surrey

Precise, low-flow watering delivered directly to the root zone. Drip irrigation is the most water-efficient method available, ideal for borders, hedges, trees, containers and vegetable gardens where overhead spraying is wasteful or impractical.

01

Why It Matters

The difference engineered irrigation makes

Up to 70% less water

Water goes straight to the roots with no evaporation or overspray, using a fraction of the volume of a sprinkler.

Weed suppression

Because only the root zone is wetted, the surrounding soil stays dry, suppressing weed germination between plants.

Works at low pressure

Drip line operates on low flow, making it ideal for gardens with limited mains pressure or stored rainwater supply.

Protects foliage

Keeping water off leaves reduces fungal disease on susceptible plants and avoids splashing soil onto ornamental foliage.

Technical Considerations

How it works

Drip irrigation uses pressure-compensating emitters built into a polyethylene pipe, each delivering a fixed flow regardless of pressure variation along the line. Emitter spacing and flow rate are selected for the plant type and soil texture, and the system operates at low pressure through a pressure regulator and filter. Because output is measured in litres per hour rather than litres per minute, drip zones can run longer and water deeper without runoff.

Rainwater Harvesting

Turn rainfall into irrigation water. Rainwater harvesting captures roof runoff, filters it and stores it underground or above ground, then pumps it through your irrigation system.
