Irrigation Pump Systems in Surrey

Correct pump specification is critical when mains pressure is insufficient or your water source is a borehole, well or rainwater tank. We specify and install irrigation pumps, pressure tanks and booster sets engineered to deliver the flow and pressure your system demands, quietly and reliably.

01

Why It Matters

The difference engineered irrigation makes

Matched to system demand

Pump flow and pressure are calculated to match the design of your irrigation zones, so every sprinkler performs as intended.

Quiet operation

Modern pumps and pressure tanks are quiet in operation, suitable for installation near the house without disturbance.

Pressure-tank protection

A pressure tank reduces pump cycling, extending pump life and smoothing pressure delivery to the irrigation zones.

Multi-source capable

Booster sets can draw from borehole, rainwater and mains, switching automatically to maintain supply.

Technical Considerations

How it works

Pump selection starts with the irrigation system's design flow and pressure requirement, set against the available static pressure and source yield. A submersible or surface pump is chosen to deliver the design flow at the required pressure, with a pressure tank to reduce cycling and protect the pump. For multi-source systems, a booster set with automatic switchover prioritises rainwater or borehole and falls back to mains. A pressure switch or variable-speed drive maintains constant pressure regardless of how many zones are running.

Rainwater Harvesting

Turn rainfall into irrigation water. Rainwater harvesting captures roof runoff, filters it and stores it underground or above ground, then pumps it through your irrigation system. For Surrey gardens on metered mains, a rainwater system can cut irrigation water costs dramatically while keeping the garden green through hosepipe bans.
